– HEMTEK ST – the welding machine for hems
The Swiss company Leister Technologies has launched the HEMTEK ST: a stationary machine specialising in the welding of hems. It can be used to weld both closed and open hems and can even reliably process hems with piping. Once the HEMTEK has been mounted on the table, it can be used immediately. Preparation or laborious follow-up work with a hand welding machine is no longer necessary.

The German company Orbitalum Tools has extended its orbital weld head HX 16 into a series. At the push of a button, the HX 16P and the HX 22P clamp themselves on the pipes in fin heat exchangers by means of a patented pneumatic clamping mechanism.

– Corrosion control with NCH “Chelade”
Many rust treatment solutions on the market contain an acidic composition which can cause damage to the underlying surface in the process. In addition, these solutions require the pre-treatment of affected surfaces to remove surface rust as well as the application of a primer before they can be used.

– Blackbird Robotersysteme launches new laser application laboratory in China
Blackbird Robotersysteme, the expert for robot-based laser welding solutions, is continuing its robust growth in Asian markets. In particular, integrators, machine builders and battery producers are among the German manufacturer’s new customers and business partners.

Until the 31st of July, robot operators all over the world still have the possibility of registering for the second DVS robot welding competition. As one of the event highlights at the world’s premier fair, SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN, the international ROBOT WELDING CONTEST will take place in Hall 13 at Messe Düsseldorf from the 25th to the 28th of September 2017.
